The top club from Munich follows a policy of extending the contracts of players aged 30 or older by only one year. Therefore, it is likely that Müller and Neuer will commit themselves to Bayern for one more season.

The situation of the goalkeeper is said to be much simpler compared to that of Müller. The attacking midfielder is reportedly not satisfied with his role as a substitute at Der Rekordmeister.

The talks between the club and Neuer will take place after the first half of the season. Until then, the development of the goalkeeper will be monitored and waited upon. Both parties are optimistic, and it is highly likely that the goalkeeper will continue to guard Bayern's goal next season.

In addition to Neuer, Müller is also expected to stay longer with the German powerhouse. The club icon struggles to accept a bench role, but still demonstrates professionalism. Reportedly, he can understand the reasons, especially because of his age. However, his value, particularly as a leader, remains undisputed. Therefore, Bayern is optimistic that the collaboration will continue after the European Championship.
