When asked about the possibility of coaching the Italy national team, Zidane expressed an openness to the idea, stating, "'Coaching the Italy national team one day? Why not? Anyone would like to, but at the moment, I'm doing other things. I'm sure that one day I'll return to the sidelines; I would like to coach again,'" as reported by journalist Nicolò Schira.
