Injured Weghorst, who had to leave the field, makes an appearance at training

After the match against France on Friday, the starting players of that game had a cool-down training session on Saturday, which Weghorst did not participate in. 

Weghorst was substituted in the 38th minute on Friday evening, with Donyell Malen coming in for him. Earlier in the match, he collided with Antoine Griezmann. The 1899 Hoffenheim striker attempted to continue but had to abandon the game.

The Dutch national team is training with Weghorst one day before the crucial international match against Greece in the morning in the Netherlands and will then depart for Athens for the next qualifying match. If they lose in Greece, direct qualification for the European Championship will be a significant challenge for Ronald Koeman's squad.
