Jurriën Timber may get the company of a fellow Dutch national team player at Arsenal

Frimpong is in his second season in Germany and is once again making an excellent impression in Xabi Alonso's team. 

After twelve played matches, he has already scored four goals and provided six assists for the former Manchester City and Celtic player. This makes him a key player in Leverkusen's current position at the top of the Bundesliga.

The fact that Frimpong has a limited transfer clause allowing him to be picked up for €40 million at the BayArena is also a welcome bonus for Arsenal, although there are more clubs that have him in their sights. 

He was already considered by FC Barcelona last summer, but the club ultimately chose to loan João Cancelo from Manchester City.
