Throughout his career, the Belgian played for a total of nine clubs. The player began his journey in 2004 at LOSC Lille, then moved on to Saint-Etienne and Olympiakos before landing at Everton. He spent the latter years of his career at Fiorentina, Royal Antwerp, Gaziantep FK, Moreirense, and ultimately AEL Limassol.

Mirallas gained the most prominence during his time at Everton. Between 2012 and 2019, the attacking midfielder played for the Premier League club. In 151 Premier League matches, Mirallas scored 29 goals and provided 25 assists. Throughout those years, he earned sixty caps with the Belgian national team.

Ambitious Fourth-Division Club
In the coming years, Mirallas will continue to be involved in the football world as the sporting director at SC Eendracht Aalst. The club from Aalst competes in the fourth tier of Belgian football, in the second division.

The transition of the former footballer aligns with the renewed ambitions of the Belgian club. Recently, the club was acquired by a Turkish investment group, and transfer fees were also paid for several players to secure promotion this year. This week, Moldovan international Nicolae Milinceanu was also introduced at Aalst.
