Saudi Arabia? For 500 million, I'll walk there; I don't even need a flight

Carlo Ancelotti joked about the topic when asked if he would consider moving to that league if offered a salary of 500 million euros.

Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of Real Madrid, delivered a response on Friday that drew many laughs while speaking at the press conference previewing the upcoming match of the Spanish league leaders, who play on Saturday away against Real Betis.

Asked about the case of Jon Rahm, the Spanish golfer who moved to the Saudi Arabian circuit, Ancelotti joked that he would do the same in exchange for a hefty salary, going even further.

"What would I do if they gave me 500 million? Which team? I'll walk there; I don't even need to catch a flight. It's a joke; the world is changing and will continue to do so. I'm not a golf expert, but Jon Rahm seems to me to be the best of all," he commented, in good spirits.

On a more serious note, the Italian coach mentioned that he has not received any contact from that Middle Eastern country, also stating that he does not consider money as a priority.

"No, no one from Saudi Arabia has approached me, and I live in the present. I have a different idea than that of Saudi Arabia. I never looked at money because I grew up in a family where money was not important. And I have money. For me, what matters is being well," he emphasized.

Real Madrid, which shares the LaLiga leadership with Girona, both with 38 points, will visit Real Betis, currently seventh with 25 points, on Saturday , in the 16th round of the championship.
