Ten Hag Sees 85 Million Euro Problem Case Leave in the Winter

The likelihood is high that Jadon Sancho will (temporarily) depart from Manchester United in the upcoming transfer window. The talented 23-year-old forward is currently not a part of the squad following a clash with manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho is not training with the first team for the time being, and this situation does not seem likely to change in the near future. Sky Sport from Germany reports that a winter transfer is impending, and it seems more likely to be a loan deal than a permanent transfer.

The Englishman moved from Borussia Dortmund to Man Utd in 2021 for 85 million euros but has not yet lived up to expectations at Old Trafford. This season, he has made only three appearances in the Premier League, totaling 76 minutes of play.

Sky has leaked that Sancho still has regular contact with Erdin Terzic, the current coach of Dortmund, with whom he has worked in the past. However, this doesn't immediately mean that Dortmund is in the best position to bring Sancho back. According to the German medium, while the interest is certainly there, a transfer is highly unlikely.

Sancho is under contract with Man Utd until mid-2026. He is not the only problem case within the current squad.
